Yes great gun but for that purpose give me the M-2 !!

It can be argued that the M-2 would not have been here without the Maxim. In fact, I believe Hiram Maxim had the patent for the recoil operation of the M-2.

ETA: He also invented cordite.

A firearm is a portable gun (a barreled ranged weapon) that inflicts damage on targets by launching one or more projectiles driven by rapidly expanding high-pressure gas produced chemically by exothermic combustion (deflagration) of propellant within an ammunition cartridge.[1][2][3] If gas pressurization is achieved through mechanical gas compression rather than through chemical propellant combustion, then the gun is technically an air gun, not a firearm.[4]

Isn’t this the slam fire shotgun?

If you mean you can hold the trigger and it will fire with every pump, then yes.

A buddy of mine did some surveying in the Stans a few years after the USSR dissolved and he came back with five or six of the old Mosin-Nagant infantry rifles. He said they were going for about five bucks apiece. Heavy as hell but a pretty gun though.

One of my best friends owns a BAR. Shooting that thing almost put me on my arse. So much fun though. Apparently it’s worth like $30-40,000.

for me, it has to be the full, semi-automatic AR-15.

The deadliest handheld weapon ever designed.
#sarcasm.

for sidearms, I'd say either the Single-action Army or the 1911.

for long guns, not sure. M14. Maybe the H&K 416

I honestly believe a hundred years from now, these things will still keep getting found on battlefields somewhere in the world.

As for the OP's question, I'm an old school guy....I'd take the Garand and the 1911.

If the BAR almost put you on your arse, don't shoot the Barrett or any .50 BMG...

M60, the saw was nice but there was just something about how the M60 could literally cut down a big arse tree and the nostalgia factor.
