I guess they see it as lesser of 2 evils. All Louisiana dems and gov always used to come to our church on special occasions every year and give the same old speech so I guess that is why.

What other race went through de jure segregation? It caused blacks to think as a group and follow each other. Look at the explosion of black owned businesses in the last couple of years. It only takes the influence of few in the community before an idea spreads like wildfire. I myself appreciate that group mindset.

What do you (and, to the extent you can speak to it, the "community") think about:
1) the prevalence of mixed race couples in television commercials?
2) the arguments of those against Voter ID (that minorities can't afford them and/or getting one is too complex for them)?
3) that blacks that are conservative or vote GOP are somehow race "traitors"?
