If that happens, the most Tulane thing ever would be beating UCF in the championship game and costing itself and the league millions of dollars and exposure!

How SEC of you to worry about thks instead of your team winning a conference title.

Ask a few of our conference mates. There is this theory that if they never added Tulane they would have made it into the promised land.

So because a couple random people online said something along those lines the entire conference is blaming Tulane?

It wasn’t just random people online, the Marquette AD was pissed about Tulane getting an invitation and it probably played some role in them deciding to leave the conference.

That's a Big East basketball school that was mad about their RPI getting kicked in the nuts by Tulane basketball. The basketball schools were all looking for an excuse to leave anyway. What does that have to do with AAC teams in the conference now?

UCF has not been destroying teams. They barely beat Memphis.

So far, three of the five Louisiana FBS teams are bowl eligible, with Tulane and ULL both at 5-5. Could be a year when all five are bowling. Or does ULL still have some sort of post-season ban?

ULM is leading their division as well.

Pretty sure that UCF has struggled until late into games the last two weeks.

I guess I should say that Tulane needs to lose to Houston.

Because Memphis controls a four-team tiebreak over Tulane in that case.
