Easiest path to the AAC West crown is beating Houston and Navy and SMU losing to either Memphis or Tulsa. If that happens, the most Tulane thing ever would be beating UCF in the championship game and costing itself and the league millions of dollars and exposure!

The most Tulane thing ever would be to lose both of those games and not reach a bowl game.

please tell me you are not worried about your conference's exposure more than your own team winning...

I thought Houston was going to frick us hard but they have actually been bad lately. Their defense is straight up garbage without Ed Oliver. Tulane might be able to gash them

I think SMU has the easiest path to winning the West with Tulane and Houston behind them in that order. Memphis may or may not be able to as well but it would rely on multiple teams tying and I don't want to look up those tie breakers.

SMU 5-5 (4-2) (wins over Houston and Tulane)

11/16/17 - Memphis 6-4 (3-3)
11/24/17 - @ Tulsa 2-8 (1-5)

Tulane 5-5 (4-2)
(win over Memphis, loss to SMU)

11/15/17 - @ Houston 7-3 (4-2)
11/24/17 - Navy 2-8 (1-5)

Houston 7-3 (4-2) (loss to SMU)

11/15/17 - Tulane 5-5 (4-2)
11/23/17 - @ Memphis 6-4 (3-3)

Memphis 6-4 (3-3) (loss to Tulane)

11/16/17 - @ SMU 5-5 (4-2)
11/23/17 - Houston 7-3 (4-2)

And to think at one point in time it was looking like 11-0 UCF vs 11-1 Houston in the AAC title game.... now we might get 7-5 SMU or 7-5 Tulane.

Assuming of course we make it through the next two games, which is no gimme the way we've been playing the last four games.

Cincinatti actually plays some defense. I'm interested to see how UCF will handle some adversity, they have been mostly destroying people during the 22 game winning streak.

Yeah I always frick up these Tulane threads with talk about her.

The chick works hard for what she has though. Gets that work ethic from her daddy I suppose.

Memphis controls the tiebreakers if we win out and one Tulane loss.

Wouldn't Tulane need to lose twice since they own head to head with Memphis? If they only lose one while Memphis wins out they'd both be 5-3 in conference play.

I'm not sure who would get to the title game if SMU, Tulane, and Memphis all finish 5-3 though. I guess toss Houston in there with a 4 way tie as well. Figuring out a 4 way tie gives me a headache.

Tulane would get a ton of publicity in that scenario.

Good. frick the AAC. This conference doesn't give a shite about us now, and blamed us a few years ago when they didn't get Big XII money.

I want to burn this stupid conference and piss on the ashes.

I want to ruin all of their dreams, including this UCF fairytale. 8-5 #believe
