I think one reason we came out flat was the Bama hangover. Remember Les' history with that? Yet Orgeron always seems to win right after a loss.

It was cold and wet which makes me think we were playing not to lose more than trying to run up a score.

I know we have deficiencies in a lot of places but before this season started my know it all friends and I (Dead Pecker Club) sat around looking at the schedule and thought we could potentially could go 3-9, maybe luck out and go 5-7, still with a fluke have a winning season.

We have become a spoiled society and we LSU fans have to be the worst bunch of negative Nellies in the SEC.

I was there and the weather was miserable. However, a win against Arkansas by only a TD is a little concerning regardless of the weather.

Yet people wanted a change from Miles for exactly this reason.

Lots of teams score when it's cold.

Auburn and Miami ended up being not very good. Orgeron has benefited from that greatly this year.

Or maybe seeing constant potential wasted is more of the frustration than "being spoiled." LSU hasn't played in a serious bowl or championship since the beginning of the decade. Fans aren't spoiled. They're frustrated and their patience is running thin.

Was it also not cold and wet for that crummy Arkansas team?

Some of them are sickening. The comments about the coaches are disgraceful. You would think that the team was having a losing season to hear them talk.

Arkansas was 2-7 no excuse and if he can't get the team ready to play then what's the difference between him and less. Stop and take a look all of you guys are just making excuses we deserve better than the last ranked offense in the SEC

One would think that after that embarrassment in prime time on national TV we couldn't wait for a chance at redemption.

No more excuses. Get it done or get out.

The excuse makers have been out in full force. I’ve never seen y’all this defensive.

up 24-3 had nothing to do with a hangover...letting them back in because of some dumb penalties and becoming overly conservative on offense is on the coaches and execution of the players.

Of course they were flat after the Bama game. I expected that. But when you are playing the worst team in the league, who you should normally beat by about 30 points (being generous, considering it's a road game), it's acceptable in a letdown week to win by 17 plus points. Instead, they won by 7.

I know people like to say a win is a win, but that isn't always true in college football where style points matter. If you're playing a good team, you're always happy to win in any way you can. But against Arkansas? Not so much.

First of all....it was not wet. It was a sunny day and a clear turning cloudy night.

It may have been cold for the fans but it was not terrible since there was no wind. If you dressed properly it was just fine.

Temps in the 30s is not cold for football players. It actually feels good once you start running around and tackling and blocking.

One thing I did notice though....it looked like LSU did not want to be there to start the second half. In their minds, the game was over....let’s just get back to BR. The Razorbacks were out on the field warming up, etc. Other than the kickers, LSU was just standning around on the sideline. And it showed in their play in the 2nd half.

I love the continued excuses for a shitty offense. They played terrible because they are terrible. There are no other factors at play here.

Great teams would’ve blown out Arkansas with no problem

Up 24-3? How's that. The offense cannot get out of its own way. The passing game is, again, an after thought.
