The dems poured tons of money into those races and managed to win with ads and the lack of any pressure for the candidates to show their true colors. I can tell you that this is the for sure reason that Davids won in Kansas. Only informed conservatives had any idea of how far left she is, and not enough of them showed up to the polls due to the weak Republican incumbent.

redistricting Pennsylvania, it was the only way they could win. but the media narrative started by MSM AND Fox news, is the burbs women think Trump is an orange meanie. Plus, I firmly believe there is something in the water in PA and some of OHIO.

I know that I'll get destroyed for this, by I do think Trump hurt himself there.
But from a historical perspective the incumbent party always loses seats in the House (except for two times...2002 and 1970).

These people don't like mess. And Trump is a mess. He needs to be more selective in his trolling.
If "mess" is measure by the number of seats flipped in the House then President Trump is one of the least messy presidents of all time where Obama was the all time messiest in 2010 were 65 seats flipped.

I guess President Trump did not sell the fact that he is against nixing preexisting coverage enough.
On a side note, allowing people to be insured with preexisting conditions simply shifted the finical burden from the emergency room hospitals to the insurance companies.
There was no solution to Obamacare, so Dems were free to make up their own.

Trump speaks rudely. 24/7 media negativity against Trump seeps in to the brains of people who pay only modest, superficial attention to politics. Their opinions are shaped by the background noise as they go about their day being productive.
Degree or not, 70% of those supposedly educated voters could not pass a civics test if one were popped on them.

Well the message of war all the time, all talk and no action on spending, all talk and no action on real immigration reform, all talk and no action on more affordable healthcare, all talk and no action on education reform by the republicans drives me to vote more libertarian.
Is anyone really excited about John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy for example?? Do they offer any real changes??
I believe the people voted for real change in government when they voted for Trump and they just aren't seeing it.
I think people are damn tired of politics all the time on so called news channels too.
I can't stomach CNN, FOX and MSNBC. I watch a few minutes of Maria on Fox business in the mornings and then just watch CNBC for business news. I wish Maria was more of a business show. She is by far the most intelligent talking head on any network.
The contortions these networks make to support politicians is just sickening. It's like people here refusing to criticize their favorite candidates for any thing. It is crazy.

Weak men. Men that aren’t providers, protectors or manly in any way shape or form.
Strong men are respected by their wives and children. But they’ve earned it by being men.
These suburban women see white males as weak and pathetic. They have to support them AND handle domestic duties. They don’t respect them and many despise them. So, when they go to the polls they vote against them.

Because the anti-pc crowd is almost exclusively people who live in the middle of nowhere with a dash of suburban white men who wish they lived in the wild west

If the narrative of suburban women hating Trump were true, then why did the Republicans win big in places where the president went to do his rallies, and why did all of the Trump attack dog progressives get destroyed in the battleground areas?

Diversity. I can’t speak for the rest of the country, but look at Atlanta. Very diverse in Cobb and Gwinnett now. Also, there seems to be a disconnect between rural and suburban, with white educated voters increasingly voting Dem.

A lot of the burbs in Atlanta are full of reverse white fighters (I mean flighters) and immigrants.

The suburbs haven’t changed that much demographically in 2 years.
Mostly just emotional white women falling for democrat BS along with a dislike of Trump personally.

That's not true. Wasn't there a poll just a couple weeks ago that suggested that 70% of people were fed up with PC.

Point taken, but I actually think they could have held onto the House. I think most people like his policies, but as I said, those folks want to play nice.
I wish he had emphasized the economy more.

Oh, I know.
College, especially liberal arts, has become SO dumbed-down over the years. I think it's more of a function of universities losing sight of their main objective of educating people and becoming more focused on packing the universities to make a profit though easy to get student loans and then students burdened with student debt look to the government for a remedy instead of themselves.

It must have gotten lost in the sea of threads about how polls are rigged
