As the economy improves as the result of conservative policies, the economic situation of individuals also improves. As people become financially stable, they become more supportive of social welfare programs and more progressive ideas in general.
It is simply a case of people taking their eyes off the ball due to their own financial/economic security, and they forget what policies led to their economic security in general. It is a cycle.

Paul Ryan surely didn't help much of anything overall.
Paul Ryan is a disgrace. He became a liability. He hurt the GOP IMO.

Many cities are seeing minorities being 'pushed' out to the suburbs and 'white' people moving back into cities to be closer to jobs.
Also there is a demographic shift going on in many States that seems to be ignored.

The reason are a combination of
And
quote:
1. Too many women watching The View?
2. Soy beginning to take it's toll via White Guilt in suburban America?
3. Too many college educated suburban voters with non-STEM degrees?
And

5) media brainwashing and not wanting to be “left out”

The 24/7 news media and social media bashing of Trump, non-stop, is having an effect on suburban women. They are the most sensitive to emotional swings and they consume a ton of media.
When you’re loaded on Xanax, that tends to happen.

Being "conservative" has changed throughout history. People forget millennial's basically graduated college and entered a shite economy, and have been fighting the longest war in US history. That sours this group from current leadership.

Celebrity worship is high amongst suburban women.
Women I went to college with, go to church with and live in the neighborhood with love them some celebrities.

But it shouldn’t. Obama and Bush carried us into those wars.
Our current President is trying to end those we are still fighting and spread peace.
Also, he got rid of a curious little cult called ISIS that basically came out of nowhere during Obama’s administration. Interesting how that happened....
And Obama tanked the economy. Trump is reviving it. So those kids who grew up during those wars and who entered a pitiful economy out of college SHOULD be supporting President Trump.
If the media would talk about the above truths and give President Trump credit for these 2 things, there would have been substantially more red votes. If the media wasn’t going full 1984 on us with their propaganda, most Americans would embrace President Trump as they should.
It’s really Shame how brainwashed by the media so many are

Plus, I firmly believe there is something in the water in PA and some of OHIO.
And you would be right. PA and Eastern Ohio are not to be trusted when it comes to elections.
Almost every non-working housewife I know that lives in the burbs votes Dem. The Democrats are always the cool, nice, or should I say charming candidates. They get taken in on the emotional appeal and typically don't feel the financial pressures of life. So they go and vote for that nice, hip, friendly guy or gal who just wants to help people out. Meanwhile, they never realize what real damage that candidate can do.
In other words, emotion over rational thought wins the day.

Being conservative is not tied to a political party. The current republican party is not conservative.
