No, it wouldn't be fun. Just noticed that a playoff spot isn't as far away as I initially thought.

No it isn't that far away and anything can happen. Let the downvotes keep coming but it's the truth.

Look, put me on record as wanting to make the playoffs this year if that is possible with some chaos, and take our chances

But yes, I think winning possibly the rose bowl would be "better" for the program than potentially getting rammed by Bama again.

Rolled by the Tide again vs. NY6 bowl win 11-2

Which would you prefer?

Its idiotic to think the committee puts LSU vs Bama in game 1. And Id love to play Bama again.

Making the CFP's for the first time would be a major step forward for the program (even if we do have to play Bama again). Rome was not built in a day. This year's team has a chance get there still.

UGA will be their second loss in the SEC Championship game if not sooner.

OU could lose to OK St., WVU, or in the B12 Championship game.

Michigan could lose to OSU or in the Big 10 Championship game.

I’m going to get hate for this but I don’t want us in the playoff. Nobody wants to see us play Alabama again this year. Nothing would be different.

It is actually a more likely scenario than the events that put LSU in the NC game in 2007, however, I never expected LSU to play for the NC this year.

We just lost 29-0 at home. We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs

There is no path whatsoever for a two loss non champion LSU. Every other p5 champion would need to be 3 loss and then what about the loser of the SECCG?

Ohio St lost by 30 to an I ranked team. LSU lost by 29 to #1. Not that that would matter.

How many really want that at this point?

We do not have the horses nor the coaching to run with the Bama's of the world.

O can do some great rah rah and lead us there as long as he has great coordinators doing the actual coaching.

Currently we have a great D coordinator and one of the worst O's in the country.
