Link from TD homepage story:
Emery decommit reasoning

After talk about Destrehan’s season, he states he didn’t see himself in UGA RB rotation with the # of 5-star RBs in front of him. Glad he woke up to this fact, and good sign for LSU.

You want to know what college football program doesn’t have a slew of 5* running backs that would LOVE to have you be a part of their program and is only a little over an hour away from home and family?

That’s right!

Nobody is the leader right now. That is his words, not mine.

I think The common sense was “go out early and play for that second Co tract” but with RBs it makes a lot of sense to do everything you can to be a 1st round pick. Because if you’re good enough to make money on that second contract your gonna get franchised, and franchised and Franchised and then boom you’re 27-28.

"Gonna be at this college for three years"

"Nobody's the leader right now" he said with a big grin on his face when asked if LSU was the leader.

"Just focusing on getting a championship for my guys."

Well spoken young man. Really hope he's a LSU Tiger in the end.

This is the only player in this cycle I have been butt hurt about losing. LSU just needs him that bad.

Me too. I got the the point where I hated seeing his highlights on Twitter, because they were so amazing and I thought he would end up sticking with Georgia.

Silent commitments don’t mean shite.

The side chick always thinks the dude ACTUALLY loves them. If it was true, the world would know about it.

He was supposed to be that before he announced for UGA too, just saying...

I just hope the coaches know what they're doing these last few months between him and Cain. Would hate to lose out on both.

A silent commit is not a commit at all. How many silents have we had over the years that ended up jilting us?

Anyone who was honest could see this coming from a mile away. The Georgia fans denied it. That was more dishonesty than not realizing it, IMO.

Georgia never made any sense.

my only 'worry', insofar as it is worrisome to me personally, is that Emery's story has changed. Allowing for some of this is unconfirmed, we've heard:
- wants to go OOS
then
- wants to be the one and only feature back
then
- wants to be on a dominant team
now
- doesn't like UGA's depth chart

Kind of hard to hit his 'pain points' in selling him on LSU when they change with... well... I don't what they are changing in relation to. They just change.

And technically, a commit who isn't silent isn't a commit either. The only commitiment that counts is when they put pen to paper.

It could (not sure if it's true).

But, Georgia never made sense due to the depth chart. And, Emery confirmed that.
