The Weather Channel

Would a wet and rainy game, similar to the Mississippi State game, help or hurt LSU in our matchup against Bama?

yadayada two weeks out...yadayada weather forcasts are never right...

This is a discussion about IF it was to rain, who does it help more?

If you want the stands full, you better not hope for bad weather. We've already had shitty weather for 2 night games so far. I want a cool sunny day followed by a clear, crisp fall night.

GFS model is showing clear skies and a kickoff temp around 60...in other words, may want to wait until we're within a week of the game before worrying about weather

Tua's from Hawaii. If it is going to rain I also want to see temperatures in the low 40s or even the 30s. I think he can handle moderate temps and rain.

My wife might disagree with my assessment though.

With rain and 102,321 racing fans, that would be a massive advantage for LSU. Unfortunately I imagine a bunch of fans would leave early if there were rain, so that would ultimately hurt us.

Burrow was a little off in the rain. Hope for a clear day. We will have to complete some passes.

Two reasons why I don’t want it to rain:
1) fans. I just want the fans in the seats the whole time. 2) excuses. I don’t want the playoff committee to have any excuse to give Bama for their loss, i.e. “weather was a factor. In a neutral climate-controlled environment, Bama’s the better team....” etc etc etc.
