For those of you that are like me and marathoned through the series like I did, I figure I create this so we can start talking about things more in depth and what's ahead for Season 4 after this wonderfully done season.

Obivously it looks as if we're going to get the much more dangerous Bullseye in season 4 with Dr. Oyama AKA Lord Dark Wind, who might get more air time, operating on him

How cold hearted is Sister Maggie? The son you abandoned loses his father and goes blind and you still act like you don't know him? That might be one of the things that puts DD S3 over the top as the best Netflix Marvel season. That one reveal makes all those scenes with Sister Maggie so much more meaningful and not just filler.

I loved how they showed the transformation of Fisk into Kingpin. Gradually over several episodes he went from being a prisoner of the FBI, to the FBI guarding him, to the FBI being his henchmen taking out his rivals. Team DD kept coming up with plans to take him out and at every turn he was 3 steps ahead, he was a great villain.

I don't know if Season 4 is too soon for more Kingpin as the big bad, but Alice Eve was great as Typhoid Mary in IF S2 and her original story line from the comics is Kingpin used her to target Matt Murdoch. I'd kind of like to see that but I think more Wilson Fisk this soon might be a bit repetitive.

Also, there were several times where it really seemed like DD needed help. Isn't Foggy the top attorney for powered people in NYC? WTF Foggy?

A serial killer with Bullseye's killing ability, seems like he'd make a good foe for Frank Castle rather than coming back for round 2 in DD.

I don’t get the point of Murdock unleashing Poindexter on Kingpin, while wanting Kingpin dead, only to stop Poindexter from killing Kingpin. I get why he would do one or the other if they were isolated incidents. But to do them both made no sense to me.

That out of the way, the fights with Matt vs Daredevil in the Office and the Church were fricking amazing. I mean seeing a superhero getting realistically lit up with pencils and staplers was just an epic fricking scene. The fights this season were just so well done both from a visual and storyline perspective. Even having Poindexter pin down Ray and Matt and slowly starting to figure out ricochets when they wouldn’t move was awesome.

I kind of blocked the jail out of my head. That’s an impressive feat of cinematography. They just dropped the Albanian storyline dead in its tracks right there.

Foggy telling Matt “you don’t get to just show up and say that” in the bar when they first meet again was awesome.

Karen better end up with either Frank or Matt. She’s a badass for a normie in this universe. She was the only person to truly outsmart Kingpin this season, even if she was going to be beaten to death to make it happen.

The dialogue between Maggie and Matt in the first 3 episodes was very very good. I liked the reveal. I liked how they had Matt react to it. It took Lanton getting killed to even kind of let her in.

Really, those 3 characters standing up to Matt this season was really well done and refreshing. He always has treated them with kiddy gloves and it’s insulting and diminishing to them. It’s been frustrating in season’s past to watch them eat his shite and support him. Are they in over their head? Yeah. But they should have the choice to do the right thing and stand up for themselves and others. An excellent and honest journalist and lawyer are supposed to be key ingredients into what makes this country great.

Like I’ve said, all in all, probably my favorite Netflix MCU show from front to back. Really enjoyed it and finished it quicker than I did any other Netflix MCU show.

I skipped the Defenders season. Do I need to watch it before watching season 3?

Anyone else notice the X-MEN easter egg at the end with Dr. Oyama (Deathstrike's father) performing the surgery on Bullseye's spine?

Legally they weren't allowed to say the metal was adamantium...but we all know better.

does the rest of this season suck as bad as the first three episodes? are the next ten similar to the first three in that matt murdock just constantly acts like a pussy and feels sorry for himself? already getting tired of the show and i'm only 3 deep.

I hate Foggy because he's a weak cuck that refuses to do the dirty work of what's needed to be done and that's put put down and kill the monster that's Wilson Fisk and he infected Matt with his thinking when Matt better understood Fisk.

This is a full blown violent war of epic proportions that Fisk is waging against them and Foggy's answer is to get the compromised government that Fisk has people in to file a lawsuit to put him back in prison. And that approach cost several more innocent people their lives including Nadeem when they went for the state grand jury play.

Just stupid.

This season may have been truly amazing to watch but Nadeem's dying declaration was just lazy writing that bailed out Foggy and Matt from making a truly and agonizingly difficult decision that determined whether or not Fisk was going to crush them.

The season started slowly but really picked up around E4.

One of the things I love about this series (and the rest of the Marvel Netflix shows) is the motivations are usually well thought out so that they make sense to the viewer. Even if the viewer thinks the character is crazy, their story is told in such a way for the viewer to understand how they went from A to B to C. The story of Bullseye/Dex is a prime example of this.

I've noticed many mentions about the final fight and confusion on it. Here's my take...

Due to the heavy security (which was then increased), Matt needed a distraction as well as a way in. He primed Dex into a red and black clad ball of destruction and set him loose. Dex unknowingly cleared the path for Matt up to the ballroom, but Matt's destination was Fisk's hidden room.

The fight itself... Matt wasn't after Vanessa but Dex wanted to kill her. Matt's personal code wasn't going to let that happen. But what about Fisk? I think part of the fighting was to beat Dex down so he wouldn't also go after Vanessa but also HE wanted to be the one to kill Fisk (or at least he wanted the option). He probably also knew that if Dex killed Fisk then he and Vanessa would be next.

I just finished season 2 and haven’t started S3. Is there a “superhero” that gets his arse kicked more than Daredevil?

Maybe it’s bc I’ve binged watched 2 seasons, but seems like the dude gets the shite beat out of him every other episode.

This chick kicks his arse, an old blind dude, ninjas, super ninja zombie, punisher, king pin, etc. He is constantly getting beat down. I really think his power is to rapidly heal bc it apparently doesn’t effect him 8 hours later.
