My wife literally asked me the same thing 
. It'a really amazing the level they are able to sustain this at. They don't ever have slip ups vs inferior teams. The fall is going to be fun to watch once GOAT Saban leaves.

Their schedule has been horrible.
I remember thinking about their fans the day LSU played SE La. That's the lack of excitement about a game they have all year except for two games - Auburn and LSU. It must really suck for the fans playing high school teams every week.

I remember LSU baseball approaching this kind of dominance in the 90’s. For me, personally, the regular season got pretty stale during those years. My attention would really kick in when the postseason started. I can imagine that it could be similar to that for Alabama football now.

No other team can get to this level. Saban somehow has immunity from the NCAA so he continues to get the top classes. The NCAA could break them up if they wanted to. Go after the Dodge Charger recipients and pull some titles and they will be mediocre again.
