The same kind of situation was encountered by my sister a few months ago. She found a number of termites in her living room. She was so frustrated by them, they were damaging all the wooden furniture, then finally she called Pest Control Termites Roseville CA for getting rid of these creepy termites. After doing pest control no termites were left. Hiring exterminators are the best way of eliminating these termites.

In Louisiana the inspection includes a 90 day “guarantee”. If the inspection didn’t find the termites but they are discovered within 90 days the issuing company has to treat the entire house for free.

Tonight I have what looks like little tiny termites around my kitchen window.

I bet these are ants not termites.

Either way call someone to treat the house and get under contract. Think of it as termite insurance. Terminix is probably the most expensive but they offer the best protection.

Make sure you understand with the contract covers. Some company’s only pay for the wood that is damaged.

Taurus SC is generic for Termidor, which is what ALL the companies use. Read up on Taurus for 15 minutes. You'll quickly find out that the industry is literally (and legitimately) concerned that now that Taurus is available to the general public, the industry may cave in America within the next 20 years. Their reasoning? Because it's so effective when applied as a trench treatment around the foundation that with so many homeowners buying this up and using it nowadays that termite colonies may be eradicated at some point.

Save yourself the thousands of dollars for treatment and just use this. It's not meant to be sprayed inside walls, unless it's just for spot treatments (which may be okay in your situation). It's mostly used for trench treatments.

Good luck.

You bought a house that didn't have a termite contract already in place?

If you just bought the house it is almost certainly under contract with the pest company that inspected it. Pull your closing paperwork and contact them.
