Best sounding bands live in comparison to their studio work

I've been really into Foster the People lately and every live video I find of their's is spot on, vocally, instruments, but not carbon copies. I love this because being a Radiohead fan for so many years (still am), it's usually rough watching their live stuff. They do well music wise, especially how they translate some of their more abstract songs to a live environment, but Yorke just quit caring so many years ago and it's usually a rough go of it.
I won't claim FtP are tops, just who I'm into right now. But who do you feel does, or did, the best job of translating recordings to a live show and still be just as enjoyable.
"Sit Next to Me" - Foster the People (current favorite)
Out of curiosity, I never saw them live, but how bad were The Offspring in concert? Me and my friends couldn't imagine his vocals would ever tranlsate well in a non studio setting.

Honestly, the times i saw Staind live they sounded just as good as their recordings.

Switchfoot sounds like overproduced pop garbage on their recordings, yet sounds raw, edgy, and rocks unexpectedly hard live.

Porcupine Tree was impeccable live. Blind Melon had great live energy.

The Radiators are so much better live than their recorded stuff.

It was in 2012, but saw FtP live, and they stole the show. It was at Bonnaroo, also saw Radiohead the night before. Foster the People was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend.

This is true of a lot of New Orleans bands. Live music is such a big part of the NOLA music scene that live is the natural habitat for most of these artists. They're probably more comfortable at Titpitina's than they are in a studio. The studio recordings never capture the energy and spontaneity of a live performance.

Because they worked so hard at it, The Eagles.
Def Leppard does a good job, especially considering the production techniques of Mutt Lange on their huge records.
Only based on examples of their live shows in the 1970s and 1997's "The Dance" (as I have not seen them live myself), Fleetwood Mac appears to be relatively spot on live, at least with Buckingham in the mix.

I saw Flickerstick several times, and they were always way better live than what I heard on their albums. I still miss the hell out of that band...
