Ensminger is an old man with holes in his underwear. I'm not sure he knows how to run a cutting-edge offense. Since O loves Ensminger so much and is essentially "married" to him now, the best thing to do is have Hugh Freeze TEACH/COACH Ensminger how to run the best, most creative (cutting-edge) offense. Freeze owns the blueprint. We simply have to purchase it. Ensminger will have to swallow his pride for the greater good. He is a grumpy ole bostid, but hopefully he'll be "coachable."

When you're calling plays you have to consider their personnel and schemes as well as your personnel. The opponent's defense and your personnel (experience, chemistry of player combinations, and player health) all have a role in what you call, unlike fantasy football. Also, you might have a play that worked fantastic in practice but turns to shut in an actual game situation. If it don't work, you move on to what you think will work instead of besting your head against a wall. You may have an impact player whip gets injured during the course of the game whose loss significantly impacts the team's performance. As Mike Tyson once noted, everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.

The shitty pac 12 schools have better offensive schemes than us.

Enough said.

Steve has done one thing most of you haven't ...... he's played the game. He'll forget more football than many ever learn.

The best offensive minds have holes in their underwear.

But not new-age offense

Furthermore, "Steve," as you like to refer to him, is underachieving in his job. This is a business, and we have a right to complain.

Besides being untrue, we've seen the new talking point for the O lovers.

It amazes me. So when the big 12 has shitty defense, offense is great. Lsu plays ole miss with shitty d, offense looks great. Face 3 top defenses, offensive calling is shite. Maybe the defense has something to do with it.

This year's offense has thrown on first downs, been in both shotgun and under center, effectively used RPO's, run Wildcat, jet sweeps, screens, power with a FB, designed QB runs, worked the middle of the field, back shoulder throws to the end zone ...to name a few
The philosophy couldn't be any more different than years prior.

It's really absurd. If LSU doesn't throw every single down, it's old school and predictable to these clowns.

There are countless examples of good OCs coming in and having success right away.
Real success. Not this relative better than before BS.
Cumbie/Meacham At TCU took TCU from 88th in scoring to 2nd
Kendall Briles took FAU from 80th to 8th in scoring and Houston from 65th to 3rd.
Why are we baking someone to take us from 76 to 59? And that’s before we play multiple top 25 scoring defense

Other OCs dont need this long.

Lane Kiffin didn't come into a rebuild like Coach Steve Ensminger. Plus Kiffin was doing it the lazy way, not building for long term results. Coach Eaux thinks Ensminger was the best OC for the job and we should believe in Coach Eaux.
okay nevermind, obvious troll

I don't think Herman really wanted this job. He used is to get Texas to hire him in the same way Les leveraged a pay raise using Michigan.

Actually, Les used Arkansas.

Ensminger cost us the game at Florida. We should've been able to score 30 or so points. If Ensminger is unable to coordinate this offense to score around 30 points Saturday against Georgia, we'll probably lose that game as well. If that happens, I want Ensminger's resignation (as OC). We ain't got time for gerber and diapers. This is a damn business these days in case some of you old bastards haven't learned yet. You OLD bastards need to look more carefully at your checking and savings accounts.
