Coming off a loss.

Highly ranked opponent coming in.

Do the research.

We just need everyone to pick uga and give us no chance. That’ll put us exactly where we want to be.

You lost me here

Its going to be a great game

If the line can protect Burrow, I think LSU can win this at home.

Yeah, and G5 games were the type of games that LSU always won, also. Until this coach, so . . . .

I don't know why you caught so many downvotes.

If you're going to think positive, go for the gusto.

I agree with you, won't be close.

Didn't you have us blowing out UF as well? UGA has played a weak schedule and I do think LSU can beat them, but they have a lot of talent and a better running game than UF (which gave us fits and ran for 215 yards), so I'd be surprised if this game isn't close either way. We're more desperate for the W, so hopefully that will lead to more aggressive play though.

Hmmm, is that true?

OK

Gerry Dinardo

1995 #14 LSU Tied South Carolina, #21 LSU lost to #3 Florida. JPS (May not count)
1999 LSU unranked lost to #10 Georgia then lost to #8 Florida CBS
1999 lost to Kentucky then lost to #12 Moo State ESPN2

Nick Saban

2001 #14 LSU lost to #7 Tennessee then lost to #2 Florida CBS

Les Miles

2007 #1 LSU lost to #17 Kentucky then beat #18 Auburn ESPN
2010 #6 LSU lost to #4 Auburn then beat #5 Alabama CBS 2:30 game
2012 #4 LSU lost to #10 Florida then Beat #3 South Carolina ESPN
2012 #5 LSU lost to #1 Alabama then beat #25 Moo State ESPN
2013 #10 LSU lost to #1Alabam then beat #9 aTM CBS 2:30

It looks like you are correct, thanks to Les. 5 times all under Les, twice on CBS at 2:30. O Hasn’t had the opportunity yet. 4 times the other way under Dimardo and the little general.

Let’s make it 6 in a row!

Edited to fix 2007 victory after Kentucky, thank you jlovel7

Thanks, I had momentary dislexia. Beat #18 Auburn after we lost to Kentucky, I will correct

This is sort of shaping into the '97 FLA upset at home. We have no Faulk though this time

So you and OP both claim LSU always wins this kind of games...so you cite 3 from the last 6 years...for a school that has been playing football for over 100.

I have no issue with y’all saying LSU will win, but I’m much more inclined to say it’s because the coaching staff has prepared the team, not some hokey fanokey coincidence.

I don’t put a lot of impact on history as I don’t believe it really has any impact on present games. Having said that and since this post concerns history, Georgia is 5-5-1 all time in BR. Should be a good one!
