SO I assume the character in question is not white and giving it to a white person does not accurately represent the character? Funny how the same logic doesn't apply to a traditionally white character like James Bond

This stuff is out of control. I have a cousin who is a flaming liberal. She is from the NE and wouldn't ride to dinner with my dad's friend bc he drove a big pickup truck, which made him a redneck. He told her he has a house in LA, 30A, and North Carolina...he might talk funny and drive a truck,but he is not a redneck. Same cousin posted on Facebook that she understands black people's plight bc she herself is part black and her family is of creole decent in LA. We are Cajun...I thought my grandmother was gonna roll over in her grave.

Also Toni Braxton played Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. There were not many black people running around medieval France but I didn’t see anyone triggered by it.
