I took moneyline on this game. Peej could say LSU is a lock and Ole Miss still wouldn't have a chance.

Should we just forfeit the game then? Why stop there, let's just forfeit the rest of the season. I would rather play to win than play scared. If we lose we lose, but go out like a man.

Saban "Catastrophe Syndrome" on display right here.

You think the football team is nervous and scared of Massa Wife?

What you fear, you draw near.

Doesn't matter how many LSU/Rant "Rainbow Trout" fans are nervous/scared of an impending disaster against the PC Rebearsharks.

If we can’t get up for Ole Piss at home at night, then Ed O isn’t doing his job, and I don’t see Ed O not being pumped up for this game. He wants Ole Miss to see what they miseout on

You will get lots of downvotes. Partly because there are some who don't understand that Ole Miss can actually run the ball. Some because the board is populated with children who don't understand what this rivalry means to Ole Miss.

Hope it's a 30 point win, but it wouldn't shock me if it's a 3 point loss.

if you want to feel better watch ole miss on defense. They are so bad, we should be able to run at will against them and keep the ball out of taamu's hands. I think the Defense will make a statement tonight.

Every game is dangerous. The past is the past. This team has a more advanced team leadership group. Yes the pre Saban LSU team personality has been to get way up and win big games and then lose to lesser teams. Saban changed that. Miles for the most part continuned it. QB has been a limiting factor. I do remember the Mettenberger meltdown in Oxford in 2013 really disappointing.

Orgeron is a much different coach and manager of people than Miles.

The defense is back to the elite level.

Finally have a QB who has gotten it done on the road in the 4th quarter against a top ten SEC team. Clearly it would be great to play a complete game. We will have to to beat Georgia and Bama. .

Every game is a dangerous game if they don't come focused and ready to play.

This game has that feel to it. Ole Miss is capable of beating a team like LSU especially if we are not fully engaged and committed to the game.

The recipe for disaster is there.... LSU better be very careful.

What an absurdly hypocritical post from a Miles bashing O lover like yourself.

Was the same “recipe for disaster” not there in 2013 or 2015?? Because both of those teams were much better than this team that has the absolute worst defense in the entire country.

The narrative has become that Miles was fired for losing to teams like Ole Miss and Arkansas, even when they were good, so if we are still losing to them over two years after O took over and they aren’t even bowl teams then we are in the same position and O hasn’t changed a damn thing.

COULD Ole Miss win this game?? Of course. Any team can beat any other team. But that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be an absolute disaster and huge mark against any progress that could have been made for this program over the past two years.

Miles was 4-1 against Ole Miss in Tiger Stadium with the only loss ten years ago and included a win over a #3 ranked team in 2014 with one of his worst teams ever.

This game is an 8 oclock kickoff against the worst defense in the country that will be thrilled if they even manage a bowl game this year.

If our offense can’t put up 30+ points then this is more of the same bullshite offense that we’ve seen for a decade and got a multiple SEC Championship Coach fired and again NOTHING has changed.

No way this defense gives up 30 so this should be not just a comfortable win but the kind of win that lets the team and fan base enjoy being the kind of top level team that can flex muscle against shitty teams every once in a while that we don’t have to pay a million dollars to make us look fun and good.

This game won’t be close. Ensminger will have some fun in this one and Aranda will swarm the shite out of this offense the same way that Saban did to the tune of 62-7 IN OXFORD.

No, this game isn’t dangerous unless we are the same team we’ve been since 2013 and not the contender we’ve looked like so far this season. Are we or aren’t we??

LSU 41-17

If LSU comes ready to play, they should handle Ole Miss. If they play like they they did against LA Tech, we are in big trouble. I think our guys will be up for the game, though. Orgeron will see to that.

LSU always has to be careful when playing Ole Miss, but they are giving up 500 yards per game. LSU's offense has started strong and finished strong against a couple of good defenses. They should be able to move the ball against their defense and keep their offense off of the field. I would think our secondary would be a little more prepared after giving up so many yards to La. Tech in the 2nd half last week too.

The meat of this schedule begins tonight. We should get a pretty good indication of LSU's chances at a SEC playoff after tonight.

I just feel we will be pleasantly surprised tonight with LSU's performance against Ole Miss.

Just a hunch.
