The thieves are two young black males between late teens and early 20s. The driver had a white T-shirt with a high top hair style kids are wearing now. The passenger had a white T-shirt also and had low cut taper.both look d to be around 5’9 or so. I contacted letgo and told them what happened and I gave them the username I met with. They shut that account down and gave me a case number for me to give to the police where they can give them all the information they have on the person who made the account. All I can do now is wait and hopefully I have good news. I have no hope though.

Did you not know there names? Phone number? How did you communicate with them?

Everything is on the app and went by the name James Carro. All the communication is like sending texts back and forth. Most likely a fake name but letgo will provide the info he put in to make the account because you need a email address. We will see but I doubt anything will come of this.

Sorry this happened to you, but yeah, the cops aren't going to do anything about it. The only thing the cops are good for is creating a police report to file with your insurance if applicable, which in this case I don't think it is.

Cops aren’t going to do shite. Had someone steal my identity, generate a pay pal acct and have food delivered to their house with one of the delivery apps.
Cops could’ve easily retrieved the address and gone and checked it out, but of course nothing ever came of it.

Letgo can’t provide me with the person’s information for privacy reasons but they can give everything they have to law enforcement. If I had it I would post it.

I called earlier to give them the contact and case number that letgo gave me and they said my police report hasn’t been submitted yet but expect for me to get a call from the robbery division in one or two days.
