Fine article until the last paragraph. Why do you need to refer to women as cisgender or trans? Everyone can be the victim of abuse.

Confusing situation as she initially denied abuse and then refused to cooperate.

Going to hold off on judgement until further notice. False abuse claims can ruin a man's life. The Bible says "The first to plead his case seems right, Until another comes and examines him" proverbs 18-17

Yeh, and nobody tribalistically supports the accuser who they have never met to a cult-like degree.

If he did all that then he should get some hefty punishment but writing a blog post doesn't automatically make me believe her.

He's vehemently denied it and she refused to cooperate with an investigation. It just doesnt sit well with me.

More investigation is needed.

There was enough there that MLB wanted to investigate but she didn't cooperate which is not uncommon with abuse victims.

That's pretty hard to read and then not believe her.

He shouldn’t be punished just off of heresay.

If she won’t cooperate then the league should move on and take this blog with a grain of salt.

Having represented more than a dozen men falsely accused of rape or sexual assault in my years practicing law, the above statement is absolute horse shite. Women make up false allegations to hide adultery, to gain advantage in custody or divorce cases or maybe just because they're fricking insane and desire attention. Seriously, the SJW's and third-wave feminists want to turn 800 years of common law legal tradition on its head. The presumption of innocence is one of the foundations of our legal system. How any heterosexual male could support any aspect of the Me Too movement is beyond me.

Pretty convincing. They should have traded him when they had the chance. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cubs suspend him indefinitely

Not that this should impact their decision but would he even be playing everyday in the playoffs? I would think plugging Murphy in at 2B and moving Baez to SS and sitting him would be the better lineup anyways just from a performance standpoint. I haven’t been following that closely to see what the Cubs have been doing since they got Murphy.

I wonder if there’s a substance abuse problem, from reading that it seems like he’s changed as a person off the field and it also seems like he’s regressed as a player on it performance wise.

He wouldn’t play everyday but he’d come in late in games for defense & would likely start against a LHP.

Just think if you had to live with your team winning a World Series with him and Chapman on the same roster. Shameful organization.
