I have like 160 hours right now and 200 sick hours.

We accumulate 10 a month of each, can only carry 240 into a new year, and start cashing out sick time at 500. At 5 years I’ll get 15 of each a month.

How the hell can you get anything at all done when you are gone for a full quarter of the year?

I no longer have to worry about vacation time due to a settlement from a severe leg injury.

Non-essential is what I always answer.

In reality, it doesn't exactly equal a traditional 12 weeks. But it does give off 12 different +7 day periods.

Also reply to emails and texts while on vacation, but not required to.

We have the option to sell our vacations back to the company. I never do that but the ones that have say they tax the shite out of it. I may be wrong.

Your job isn't necessary if you can be gone 1/4 of the year.

Yeah, I'm jealous.
