What's yall's experience with fasting?

I completed a 24 hour fast yesterday and was surprised at how good I felt. I was expecting to feel like shite and that was not the case. After dinner today I plan on attempting a 36 hour fast.
My question is - Is it okay to exercise (running in particular) while fasting? Will fasting also cause me to rapidly lose muscle, in addition to the fat? My goal is to lose weight, but I'd like keep muscle mass.

perfrectly fine and no you wont lose muscle mass doing this.

You will lose muscle mass running. Do walks and lift heavy arse weights for small amounts of oveall volume. no running.
If you are serious about losing fat, the fastest way I know possible is the follow:
48-72 Hour fast
followed by 24-48 hours of eating but staying keto.
repeat
Lift weights using an abreviated RPT or LP program focusing only on the big lifts twice per week.
walk, walk, walk. Shoot for 15-20k steps a day during the fast.

I'm pretty convinced that intermittent fasting is one of the best things you can do in terms of health/wellness. My fasts are liquids only, and will range anywhere between 16-30 hours. Only negative side effects I've heard for fasts over 24 hours is it disrupts your sleep cycle.

It affects your sleep cycle because you will wake up after 4hrs of sleeping and feel completely rested. I’ve done a 14 day water only fast and the mental clarity and energy it provided was almost spiritual.

This is exactly what I’ve been preaching on here, but the government brainwashed robots still think you need to eat 5-6 times a day lest you pass out and die.

any cardio or conditioning exercise that gets your heart jacked up will burn muscle. Excpetions would be lifitng or strongman due to the nature of the exercise.

What do you mean by twice per week? Only two days but with all the lifts?
Do you only drink water during the fast?
I really want to do a fast to try to get that last 15 lbs off. I'm weighing about 165 lbs right now (height of 5'5"). My size 34 pants are lose and I'm on the last hole of my belt. I really want to drop more before I buy a smaller size pants.

I've recently moved and started walking to work. My walk is about .4 miles and takes me 10-15 minutes. I've been doing IF either on purpose or by accident for years now. I used to not even really be hungry for lunch, but would eat to get away from my desk mainly. Now that I've started walking, I get starving at like 10:30AM. It'll ween off and I can make it until 12:30 or 1 when I usually eat, but my question is this: should that short of a fasted walk be having that big of an impact?
Maybe it's a placebo or I'm a pussy, but it just seems odd.

It’s probably just because it’s something new. Your body will adjust.
I do crossfit in the am fasted and break it at 11. I used to be hungry around 8:30-9 but lately I’m not hungry at all.

Not if at all. Actually very common. Doggcrapp uses this exact technique to keep fat at Bay and simulate hunger during a bulk

I mean do a 2 day split. Something like squats, chins, press, dips one day then dead, bench, row, curls the other.

Well if doing it for health, in order, it's best to don't dry then best to do with just water then best to do with coffee/energy drinks
