Went to look at them on Amazon and damned if there weren't a gazillion different kinds for sale.

Buy the ones without the fake reviews.

Must be too many pictures in the OP for my phone to load. Surely nobody would ask for advice on which thing to buy without including pictures...

Got a Mudman years ago. Check out the mud master series of G Shocks.

You gotta go with the blacked out version, very tacticool.

Well, you could spend $300 on a clunky watch that makes you look like a try-hard mountain biker that will insure you never get laid.
Or you could buy a Timex and an 8-ball of good coke and bed an OT8 by midnight.
Your move.

I have the mud master and love it.

There's only a few worth getting. Classic Japan-made square GW-series, the much cheaper DW's, the Oceanus watches, or a RAF model (if you can find one). I have an old DW I put a NATO strap on for the days I've let one of my Seiko autos run down and don't feel like resetting before coffee.

I have a G-Shock Mudmaster 35th Anniversary Edition.
It has absorbed a lot of abuse.

Why not get the watch and the 8-ball?

I got a GW6900. The Mudman and Rangeman were too thick for me to be able to bend my wrist upwards. I've been really happy with it as a work watch. Only problem I've had is that the alarm is pretty quiet

Rangeman GW9400-3 had mine for 3 years, solar charging, automatically updates time every night andit’s been through a lot ,including taking a rock slung by a lawnmower to the face and only suffered a barely noticeable scratch.

I've had my MT-G for about 15 yrs; best watch I've ever owned and I own a Swiss made watch I bought in Switzerland.

Get a Marathon instead. They make all black ones, quartz and autos... just search and find one you like.
