Random stories from team hotel in Fort Worth

It was pretty cool when the team arrived and walked through the lobby last night I don’t think the younger players had ever experienced walking through a line of rabid LSU fans. If they could have suited up and taken the field then, I think they would have. They were wide eyed and fired up. To a man they were well dressed and representing. Lots of high fiving fans.
I tapped a young man on the shoulder on the elevator this morning and told him I hoped he played for LSU. He introduced himself as Steven Sullivan and could not have been more friendly and polite. Talk about a kid that looks the part, a lean, muscular 6 ft 6in tall. I thought my wife was going to faint, lol. How is this kid not a starter? He sure passes the eye test.
Several folks around town have told me they are amazed how well LSU fans travel. The bars and pubs in Fort Worth were full of LSU fans last night. Saw one poor couple at the hotel leaving for game that were Miami fans. They got tiger baited. I would have thought it rude, but duh, why stay at the LSU team hotel?
I saw no Miami fans out last night. If they were out, they weren’t wearing their puke orange colors. I did just buy beer at a convenience store and the cashier was from Miami. I told her I could wish her good luck, but I would be lying. She was cool.
Just saw cheerleaders leave hotel. Our party bus leaves in an hour. I think we win, but I am not a good barometer. I always think we will win

Thx for sharing. Love hearing stories like this. Wish I was there. But work calls first. In Wyoming working sucks.

I'd expect many more LSU fans at the game than Miami fans. To start with, LSU is a bigger school than Miami and Baton Rouge is about 900 miles closer to Dallas than Coral Gables is.

There’s an entire website based off these fantasies, from what I’ve heard at least

We travel a lot better then you all probably think..
I always find it odd though how people care so much...We get it we are a tiny private school in a major city that doesn't aways all revolve around life or death college football.

Took the ATT stadium tour yesterday. Half LSU /Half Cane fans had a good time joking around. We were telling them that we were going to outnumber their fans 3 to 1 and they said not after the 3rd quarter. It was all in good fun and a great tour. Place is massive, tour guide said you can fit two SuperDomes inside ATT Stadium
