2050?
Relax. We will all drown in melted iceberg by then.

the irony of a marxist-socialist using hunger and starvation as a motivational tool to erode freedom (aka, capitalism) is hilarious

there are few things in life more ironic than watching the self-identifying empathetic and progressive crowd argue for the deaths of billions of people, both directly (by claims of overpopulation) and indirectly (by promoting a failed, totalitarian system that leads to starvation due to the limitations of market demands)

Funny how they don't mention that the world's most successful capitalist society is also the largest exporter of food in the world. The most successful communist country is only #4.

Let's self righteously ridicule anyone who wants to try something different and pretend that all the systems in America are perfect and benefit humanity the most.

40% of the world's population relies on fish as it's main source of protein.
In 2040, there basically won't be any fish left to eat the way we're going.
Guinea pigs breed really quickly, maybe thats the replacement.

“This time it’s gonna be different” isn’t an argument of merit.

No capitalist economy has ever led to mass hunger.
Every communist economy has led to mass hunger.
American capitalism through farming innovation has greatly reduced world hunger and made us all fat as frick here

Great analogy.
Socialism, is in fact, the punishment that prison doles out. That's what makes it prison.
You go from living in a free, capitalist society in the American public and then when you show that you can't handle that sort of freedom or function civilly in a capitalist economy, they send you to a socialist totalitarian/oligarchy, prison.
Basically, liberals want to live in prison. They're actually doing a pretty good job of that, too. We should do our part to help them fulfill their dream.

The quotes you posted are talking about alternative management structures and employee ownership, not state control.
There's a HUGE difference there.

Starting or participating in a conversation about the necessity for changing some things is a step in the right direction. Mocking people who don’t think the current oligarchy in America is the best thing for our country doesn’t accomplish or prove anything.

Socialist and communist don’t only deserve to be openly mocked and ridiculed, they deserve to die.

No, it's not. Let me get to a level you might understand:
Discussion topic: 'Water is bad for you. 3 reasons:
a. It makes you gain weight and look fat.
b. Consuming water depletes the resource to habitats.
c. It's makes you pee a lot.
Plan: Ban the consumption of water by humans.
'Changing things =/= good'. Hell, it doesn't even qualify as worthy of discussion in this topic.
