I started off the spring saying we are a 7-5 team and that’s at best. Then we got the news of landing Burrow, I changed my mind to being a 8-4 type team. Now, after hearing how good our defense is going to be I’m pumping sunshine. If we can have an offense that protects the football and completes the easy plays we may have a damn strong football team this year. I’m now leaning to a 9-3/10-2 type team. IMO this team will go as far as its offense will take them, we know what we have in our defense.

I’ll be living in Alabama for the football season this year, wish me luck. I’ll be giving out a bunch of tiger baits, suck that tiger dick, and “rip rip rip, rap rap rap, Alabama girls got the clap clap clap”!

It's hard not to get excited once we landed Burrows. Qb position is so important. One thing I have found interesting is I thought LSU's win total would change with vegas once we landed Burrows but it has stayed the exact same. We'll see

Nah I’ll stay a “nega” until proven otherwise. It will take 10 wins to change my mind. Not to hard a task for this talent

I always think LSU is going to do well going into a new season. This year hasn't changed anything. I have less hope that "those in charge" will fully utilize the resources at their disposal, but who knows.
I'll certainly give O one thing, this has been a pretty intense off-season. I don't recall such a rollercoaster of emotions in recent years past.

Canada drama.
No way he'll hire Ensminger.
He hired Ensminger.
The turmoil regarding the recruiting results/missteps.
Burrow
Losing QBs
Losing Ingram, Taylor, Davis.
Hoping that Fulton was coming back.
Learning that he wasn't.
Learning that he WAS!

All of that was actually pretty taxing and I don't know whether I feel like we have good momentum now or not. But either way. I'm definitely ready for kickoff and hoping for the beat down of Miami.

I’ve never been either one.

I know CEO was a disaster, a decade ago, at Ole Miss.

And he talks funny.

And yes, Moo State.
And yes, Troy.

But that was then, and this is now.

There are too many interesting differences, this year.

I’m just going to crack some cold ones, and see what happens.

My sincere condolences . . .

First year following the SEC? We play 4 teams that are at least as talented as us. Winning 10 games is never "not to [sic] hard" and especially this year. It's going to take more that talent to win 10 games this year. It's going to take talent, good coaching and possibly a bit of good fortune.

nope. LSU has as much talent of anyone except bama and maybe Georgia. I find more than two loses would be disappointing with the elite defense and talent on offense. It will take talent and coaching to win 10 games well the talents here. Not asking a lot for the coaches to coach them up and have them ready on offense. 10 isn’t some impossible number. This is LSU for Christ’s sake. I hate expectations are so low. It’s sad a nega sees it could happen
