I couldn’t name ole miss’s starting QB if my life depended on it and neither could vast majority of people that don’t live in Oxford miss.

I have a hard time belie
and how many people out of BR do you think could name Burrow?

His name is Jordan Taamu and he’s quite good.

He played in 7 games, completed 66.5%, 1682 yards, 9.7 yards/attempt, 11 TD, 4 INT, 164.5 rating

Maybe there’s a reason why not many people know who he is.

I knew who Chad kelly was.
Shea
Hell, even bo Wallace.

When have they not?

Name the last starter they had that wasn’t a transfer and stayed with the program. I’ll give you a hint, his name is Eli Manning. They’ve only had one starter since then that they recruited out of high school, Shea Patterson, and he left.

Bentley is on a pretty good trajectory and Shurmur threw more TDs last season than any LSU since Jamarcus.

Yes, my theory is a lot of the most vocal cheerios on this site watch very little football if LSU isn’t involved, which explains their total lack of perspective.

The guy played against us last year and then started the rest of the season.

Sounds like we should be a serious playoff contender, and NY6 Bowl participant at worst. Is that correct?

Yeah I don’t want to hear any whining about the schedule if all this happens

I’m sure that narrative will change in that case

Not far fetched to think that guy is going to be the shite if you watched the game

If Tua is that good, there is almost zero chance of any team even getting close to beating them while he is there.

Their QB play has been the only thing keeping them from putting up 70+ points against everyone.

FTR speaking of tua, I remember a certain qb for LSU (that turned out to suck) that made a similar big throw to beat Arkansas couple yrs ago. All I’m saying is maYbe you shouldn’t judge a kid on one play.

He stared 5 games three for like 1600+ yards. It’s not like he made 1 throw. If you’re gonna make an opinion at least educate yourself on the topic.

Ok, what’s your opinion based on?

Alabama’s? LOL.... Kid Played in one half of a game and made one throw. That’s literally all he’s done. I’m not saying he doesnt have talent and won’t be good... but don’t you need to see just a little more ?

Tua: 77 career attempts.
Burrow: 39 career attempts.

Well LSU had never hired Ole Miss' worst football coach before. It's like y'all forget what has happened over the last 2 years.

I misread The post and thought you were still talking about Ta’amu

Still what are you basing your opinion that Burrow is better than Ta’amu?

I’ll concede Lock, Fromm and the kid from state and Auburn are proven good qbs, but the rest??

You have zero credibility since you didn’t even mention the 1st team All-SEC QB from last year. Kid threw for 44 TD’s (SEC record) and led the Conference (in 10) and NCAA (in 3) passing categories. If he played for a top 10 team he’d likely be a Heisman finalist.

Ta’amu is hands down going to be the best QB in the SEC this year. Neighbor is an Ole Miss fan and I watch them with him when we are not playing at the same time. He is pretty darn good on a not so good team.

Jake Bentley is questionable at best. Tua the verdict is still out. One half of football does not tell the whole story. People forget he threw a terrible interception as well. One that truly should have lost Bama the game. Yes he made good throws but I'm not ready to believe that he will have a better record when it's all said and done than Hurts did over the same amount of time. That being said your right about not comparing Burrow to Tua. Burrow has lots to prove. Tua has proven he can but only for one half and only for a half against a team
expecting Hurts to be the quarterback.
