I don't go very often. I've been to Domenica and Brennan's and some cheaper places. Should I try Commander's, August, Emeril's, etc.?

Yes sir you should...some are better than others just bring lots of money they aren't cheap.
New orleans and South louisiana in general is blessed with great seafood....wish some of the older resturant that have closed would come back...

Been in there half a dozen times and have never seen more than 2 other tables each time.

Always liked it.

Shrimp roll is kind of meh, but that is the only thing I didn't like there.

My favorite is by far commanders. Lots of great memories (and meals) were made at that place.

Yea, the mustard is a little overpowering, IMO.

Domenica was the first “good” restaurant I went to in New Orleans, so it kinda has a nostalgic appeal to me and is probably my favorite restaurant in the city. I haven’t been back since the Besh (and Shaya) fallout, so I’m not sure if that has affected the restaurant quality, though.

GW Finns is by far the most underrated restaurant in New Orleans and is hands down the best seafood restaurant in the city.
