Actually, your wrong. Asians are suing some of the ivy league schools for racial discrimination.
Asians don't get the same special privaledges such as Affirmative Action that blacks, Hispanics, and native Americans get.

here's my definition of "white privilege"
i work hard. stay out of trouble. provide for my family. and live within my means
my father worked hard. stayed out of trouble. provided for his family. and lived within his means.
his father worked hard. stayed out of trouble. provided for his family. and lived within his means.
i will teach my children to work hard, stay out of trouble, provide for their families, and most importantly: nothing in life is given and you must work hard to earn it.
you and yours don't/didn't. now you want to blame me and feel entitled to the opportunities i have.

been with my employer for more than a generation, probably longer than a lot of posters on here have been alive, being black, or female for that matter, has been the fast track for getting jobs in my field the entire time, actually trumps experience and qualifications, would absolutely hate being a white male and trying to get hired these days

I guess that's how I felt growing up in a trailer, having to hang out in a Shell Station at 2am while my mother worked the register so she could afford to pay the electric bill.
That's also how I felt going to a majority black S. LA school where the white kids were constantly getting jumped. Guess I should have just taken the beatings as a consequence of my white guilt.
Busting my arse in high school to escape, college, working my way up the corporate ladder, providing a MUCH better life for my own family - I didn't build that, it was just given to me because I'm white.

Keep in mind the vast majority of the people pushing "white privilege" grow up and live in overwhelmingly majority white and wealthy neighborhoods.
They live in all white neighborhoods, go to all white schools, go to all white colleges, and have all white friends.
Of course they're experts on "white privilege." They live it.

Yes, it does. It's not a problem that needs to be fixed or anything, but it exists. I'm not sure why everyone has to abandon all rational thought when this stuff comes up (both the woman in the OP and people who ignore the basic claims entirely).
While people make up 63% of the workforce. 96% of Fortune 500 CEOs are white. 70% of classifiable businesses are owned by white people. We can keep going if you'd like.
Now, there is nothing wrong with those numbers. That's not a problem we need to solve IMO, but belonging to those majorities is better, on average, than not belonging to them. I'm not sure how that's even debatable.

I'm white. What privilege do I have that someone of a different color in the same socio-economic realm wouldn't?
BLM and people like that are really just arguing that the black culture is broken and that they are all poor. It's not because WHITEY HAS ALL THE PRIVILEGE, it's because of choices they make throughout their lives.

If you're a 30 year old black person, you were 3x more likely to have been born into poverty than a 25 year old white person. The parents of that black person were born at a time when 55% of black people were in poverty.
It's getting much better, no doubt about it, but it takes time. We love to talk on this board about how important SES and the nuclear family is, but we ignore the fact that different races were on much different ground over the past 60 years.

it has very little to do with race and much more to do with:
adults needing to wrap their minds around the selfless model of generational economic improvement i previously mentioned on this very page.
when successful, each new generation will be able to live a better life than the previous. but it also involves: working hard, staying out of trouble, providing for your family, and living within your means. concepts some ethnic groups can't seem to consistently have success at, thus their children and grandchildren are at an economic disadvantage compared to others.
