Just got back from Phoenix West II. Checks all the boxes and isn't quite as pricey as Turquoise Place. You don't have the massive wrap around balconies with the hot tub, and the living room isn't as big, but it's a nice place with a lazy river right on the beach front.

Turquoise, but the lazy river is in a weird place and you probably won't use it.

Agreed, that's what was so nice about PW2. Lazy river and pool both right next to the beach entrance, and not an elevator ride away like TP

Ok. Lazy rivers are over rated and over priced. What about nice condos with nice pool.

How can a lazy river be over priced?

If you need something more budget friendly, the Phoenix properties will be your best bet.

How many people do you need to sleep? My condo sleeps 4 and doesn't have near the amount of people as a Phoenix being it is only 3 stories. 3 nice pools and direct beach access

I dislike the Phoenix properties as they are so over populated during peak months. I did stay in Phoenix west II for a bachelorette party in the spring and it was enjoyable but no way I’d go there in July.

Our family has a place at Romar House. It is mostly owner occupied so never very crowded. A few units are rented out on VRBO or thru the on site office. Two pools, by no lazy river. You can go on the beach and look right and left to the crowds at Phoenix 4 and 5.

Agree. I have heard nightmare stories about elevator wait times at some of those Phoenix properties, however we are going in
sept so should not be too crowded

After labor day it is pretty dead. You won't gave to deal with the Louisiana trash. Keep in mind that many places might close early
