he is a corrupt business man, but i think he is a good politician.

Not a surprise at all - he's been using the office to prep for a gubernatorial run since the beginning, which be a major concern. A lot of people here talk about the need for term limits and getting the career politicians out and I totally agree, but this guy would be another Jindal all over again, putting his personal ambition over the needs of the state. He's already making a mockery of the state with some of his absurd statements about firing squads and electric chairs.

If Landry is the best the Republican party can trot out for governor, they deserve to get beaten again.

What simple Jeff doesn't get is the people who hopes he will run are Edwards supporters.
We need a real candidate to run against Edwards. Hewitt, Abraham, or Graves seem like the best choices.

He would finish what Jindal started. Louisiana would physically break if this clown gains control.

Dude, we're not looking for hybrid of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, we're just looking for someone with a pulse who will not do the same shite as JBE is doing right now with red tape out of the arse, high taxes that goes nowhere, lawsuits that harass the private sector, rand more spending that disappears into a black hole.
It's not that hard.

I would not call Jeff Landry corrupt. To be corrupt means you have some level of intelligence which Landry is sorely lacking.....he makes up for it by grandstanding. He has been a shitty AG

. Pathetic that he was elected AG.
What does it say about Buddy Caldwell that he could lose to someone like Jeff Landry in the same year that JBE won the election?

Every post about Landry seems to evoke these posts about him being “corrupt”. Has there ever been any actual examples of what led to these charges? I’m starting to wonder if his first name isn’t “Jody” and we have some pissed off husbands and boyfriends.

Looks like Sen. Serious Sin wasn't so bad after all. Eat crow, all you short-sighted geniuses!!

Can someone describe Landry's politics and stances please?

Cops found drugs under his house when he was a deputy in St Martin
That and he can never really elaborate on what he did with his law license from graduation until being elected
Not a fan. I'd prefer Garrett Graves or Fleming
