He's referring to Jerra as a bully. Here's my take on all this kneeling or standing stuff that the average person does not know. First and foremost, NFL players are free to express themselves, except on game days. The team uniform is something that is cherished, and pure within the league to the owners and the commissioner. Lastly, what people fail to realize, the NFL has a code of conduct in EVERY players contract, no matter what terms, or hotshot agent represents him, period. Jerra is enforcing this because he believes in purity, and integrity. Eric Reed, Kaepernick, and Jenkins, for example can kneel, protest whenever they want, only on non game days. You suit up, you represent the league and honor its conduct policy. Disagree all you want, but im in the know with a retired NFL executive, who i stay in touch with on a weekly basis. Carry on...

normally this thread would upset me. the kneeling doesnt bother me so much as the complaining from all sides. but none of that really matters. you know why?...

I’ll never understand how these clowns and their sheep can’t grasp that they are on company time on Sundays. Every work place has rules that must be followed or you face the consequences. Just because these guys play a game for a living doesn’t excuse them from rules in the workplace.

Well Jerry is certainly putting his players in a weird position. Granted, Jerry has always been outspoken. But this entire deal is head scratching. No players on the Cowboys took a knee last season and Jerry even went out on the field with his team as a sign of unity before the MNF against Arizona. So why flip the script and make such a hardline move right before training camp?

This is the part I agree with the most. You can't walk into your everyday job and protest, it's not feasible. Off the field, do whatever you want, on it you have to respect your employers wishes as long as it doesn't hurt you in any way.

Having said that....frick Jerry Jones.

FIFY lol and thats what he should do, he's not worth all these billions for nothing this is a business its commerce its about money and gaining consumers, mass appeal politics in the entertainment/athletic profession naturally divides and deters consumers, no one's paying them for their politics they're paying them to excel and achieve on the football field

Here is how you handle this stupid shite:

NFLPA and Commish go into a room, Commish offers to stop mary J testing, and players either stand or stay in locker room for anthem.

Would stop this tit for tat shite immediately. Punishment for sitting would be pot testing back on. Players would beat the frick out of a kneeler for messing with their pot consumption.

I will never understand the “you’re on company time” argument. The kneeling nfl players broke no rules, hurt no one and were well-intentioned. If the owners want to make a rule, like Jerry Jones, they have to deal with the shitstorm they caused by making an unethical decision. Just like Kaepernick knowing the backlash he would receive for kneeling, the owners need to understand the majority of their fan base will be against forcing players to stand for the anthem.
