I'm about 6 or episodes in to season 1 and I have to say......

What the frick happened to this show?? This first season is fantastic television. If I remember correctly the second season was as well.

CW should have stuck with the whole "this is basically Batman but we're going to call it Arrow" theme they had going to get started.

I agree. This used to be one of my favorite shows and after season 3 the show went to hell as they expanded the cast to this SJW ensemble crap.

To me the big mistake was bringing the supernatural into the show after the first season or so. I know they had to to incorporate it with the other shows but that hurt it in my eyes. Should have kept it separate and kept the more Nolan Batman type of world.

Superhero shows tend to due when they force a live interest

They ran out of worthwhile backstory. Part of what I remember working so well early was the near perfect fit of the flashbacks and the present day story. Switching back and forth between 2 good, semi-connected stories kept it moving with little filler. Now that we've met all the characters and unraveled the mysteries it's become just another superhero show that's on a network aiming at the 25 and under crowd.

The season 7 trailer looks promising. To its credit, the show has had great villains. The returning guy included (his name totally escapes me now)

Season 3 happened. I kept watching until they killed off Earth One Laurel in season four. That was my breaking point. I grew to hate Olicity.

Do you know there is a group completely devoted to replacing Stephen Amell's wife's face with Emily Rickards and constantly create petitions asking Amell to divorce his wife and marry Emily instead?

Yeah, those people are what ruined Arrow: or should I say, the writers thinking those fans are who they need to pander to is the problem.

This woman killed it.

There's not enough words to describe my sheer hatred for this whiny, needy and and annoying as frick woman.

Pairing her up with Oliver is one of the worst ideas I've ever seen in TV history. She's one of the most hypocritical creatures I've ever seen and she literally thinks that Team arrow can't survive without her and she's the face of the team. She's so needy that everyone is moving mountains to appease her and she thinks she's running the show and the sad thing is that Oliver is letting her.

I also hate the pairing because it shits all over one of the biggest if the not the biggest reason Oliver had to make it back to star city and that was Laurel Lance. To Green Arrow, Laurel Lance is not just the Black Canary but also the love of his life. I will never forget when on her death bed, the writers went out of her way to insult her by making her plug Oliver and Felicity while still admitting she still loved him.

Green Arrow and the Black Canary was the power couple we deserved, not this stupid, painful, annoying and toxic bullshite with Oliver and Felicity which is like Batman hooking up with Oracle in the wheel chair.

Any of the shows produced for CW or SyFy will devolve into soap operas within a few seasons.

It got stupid when he mysteriously decided it was “wrong to kill” after murdering like 50 people.

This is what I would say to Arrow if he were real and told me his new outlook on no killing:

Look taintstain, you don’t get to just wipe kills off your record because your chick convinced you that you need to be a pussy again. You got more murders on your record that John Wayne Gacy and you know what he is known as FOREVER? A psycho serial killer. No one gave a shite if he had he own personal season 2 shift on killing. He still killed...a lot and you did even more...so screw yourself and your soapbox and get back to killin

"The Dragon" episode of Arrow this past season was one of the best episodes of the entire series. It's a villain origin story and it is top-notch.

The first 2 seasons were absolutely amazing.

Felicity being shoved down our throats, and Oliver losing his edge that he had as the hood/arrow. Once Laurel was killed off that was the end, the show lost almost all redemption.

Season 5 was solid. I was hoping Chase would do major damage to the team in the explosion. I only saw episode 1 of season 6 and I was turned off when I realized Felicity survived alive and well.

I don't like this "Team Arrow" mess, I want the hood back.
