I wouldn't say he did nothing but many Saints fans were down on him.....I really liked Mark Fields after meeting him and seeing how giving of a man he is.

I gotta disagree with you on that one. Early was a good player for us. He was under Curley for two years which meant we ran on first and second down, then passed on third down, usually to Eric Martin. He played with Steve Walsh and Wade Wilson after those two or three years. Then, once Jim Everett came in and Eric Martin left, he led the team in receptions two years in a row before leaving in FA.

Amazing how a former LB could not draft a LB.

I wish we would have held on to him long enough for him to develop. He was a good player with the Pats.

He did more than nothing, but I really liked Jonathan Casillas. He had like 60 tackles in 3 years.

A girl in my high school won some writing contest where the winner’s school received a visit from a local NFL player and they sent fricking John Farquhar, the third string tight end. He was a nice enough guy, but wtf?

Adrian McPherson bc he gave us this glorious picture

Wasn’t it McPherson who got smoked by gumbo on the golf cart? He had quite the run

ETA: Or maybe it wasn’t gumbo? I remember it was a mascot.

Derek Brown. Awesome running back for Nebraska. Always ran into him around Metairie and talked. When We’d see each other he’d make it point to come say hi and make small talk for a few minutes. Just a really, really nice guy.

Coming to mention Bum Phillip's illegitimate son. Have no idea how else he managed to draw a check, but dude was always there. And just for the name, he's awesome.
