I liked Chase Daniel in college, and I respect the fact that he’s made a 10 year career out of appearing in like 3 games.

Can’t say I liked him, but Jonathan Sullivan gave me material for jokes for a few years.

I really wanted Troy Davis to do what Darren Sproles did here, but it was a different offense then. From same era, I respected Danny Wuerffel.

Al Woods. He was a local baw from Lake Charles, LA. He just didn’t make it with the Saints, but I see that he eventually improved himself and made the team with the Colts.

I’m pleasantly surprised that he is still in the league after all these years.

Probably my second favorite backup QB of all time (Matt Flynn is the GOAT)

Renaldo Turnbull and Vaughn Dunbar. Turnbull played pretty well the first few years with us bc Ricky Jackson was getting so much attention on the other side. Patrick Swilling can also thank Ricky for having a great career. I really wanted Dunbar to do well after being a first rd pick in 92. He just could not get going.

We drafted him and Wuerffel the same year and I though, Great, the Heisman winner and Heisman runner-up. We’re finally getting talent! This QB may have a chance with Davis running the ball behind Chris Naeole with Nicky Savoie and Keith Poole to throw to.

Dark days. Dark days indeed boys. Cherish Drew Brees and this current team. Cherish them!

Onome Ojo, Cie Grant, Colby Buckwalt, That 6ft 8in lanky goofy white tight end in the late Haslett or Early Payton Era. Anyone remember that cats name?

Zachary Hilton was the name. 2005 tight end.

My thoughts exactly.

Not to hijack the thread, but Troy Davis was from Miami, the same time that Danny Wuerffel was from Fort Walton. Spurrier offered Troy Davis a scholarship to come play for Florida but he chose Iowa State instead. Can you imagine Troy Davis and Fred Taylor in the same backfield as Danny Wuerffel at the same time?
