Mark Fields was average, but I loved him

What’s wrong with you people? He played for us for six years, went to one pro bowl for us, is top 10 in tackles all time for the Saints and is a top 3 LB in sacks behind Jackson and Swilling!

I agree Mark Fields was better than nothing. He didn’t amount to much for being the 13th overall pick. He was never a game changer on a bad defense. Much like Jay Bellamy. He had a lot of tackles and flashy plays, but never was a game changer.

My favorite player tho. At the time at lb running a 4.4 was unheard of.

Aaron Brooks, he always had a smile on his face on or off the field. Seem as if nothing bothered him. Win or lose he was still smiling.

On the contrary, I remember Jay Bellamy being responsible for a lot of flashy, game changing plays. Seemed like every time we were getting burned over the top, he'd be stumbling in the background.
