It's Bad Robot, but he didn't write it and he's not directing it. Looks like someone played the Wolfenstein video games and decided to make a movie about them.

Isn't this supposed to be another Cloverfield movie?

Unpopular Opinion Time:

JJ Abrams is a hack.

Creates flashy, forgettable generic mush.

Looks cool.

But that trailer had too many starts and stops.

Kind of off topic. Saving Private Ryan was originally supposed to be an over the top, cliche filled, satirical action movie that would have never resembled the final project had Spielberg not gotten involved. Some of the cheesy dialogue during the first 15 minutes is left over from that original script. Things like "All we can do here is die!" And "I thought you were my mother!"

I always thought that implied Ridley Scott, but turns out it is Abrams.

Probably was planned to be released under the Cloverfield name but will probably now try to distance themselves from that last turd of a movie.

Looks like an E.C. Comic. Hopefully it's as good as an E.C. Comic.

That trailer gave me a headache, I couldn't imagine sitting through this movie unless the trailer is just every crazy/noisy momement spliced together.
