If you want to try something a little different, walk right next door after Oxbow and go to Honeymaker Mead Hall.

They make a ton of different varieties of mead that are very good. And I believe you can get a tasting sampler for something like $7. Great way to try their stuff.

You're also very close to Rising Tide. Can't recommend that place enough.

Saw that place. Not sure I'm a Mead guy. I've had it in Europe and wasn't a fan.

Gonna try to hit it later today.

Fair enough, just thought I'd make you aware of it.

Hopefully you'll get to eat a sandwich at Duckfat before leaving Portland. That place is fantastic.

Zappa head out of Portland "proper" toward Industrial way, there's like 5 breweries right next to each other. Definitive, Battery Steele, Allagash, Foundation, Austin St. Might be a 20 min ride away from downtown Portland, definitely worth the trip though.
