I’m dead serious

How many 10 foot birdie misses do you think someone can realistically afford when trying to chase down 3 golfers 4 strokes ahead?

His margins are absolutely razor thin

You can afford a couple. If he shoots anywhere in the 60s he absolutely has a chance. There are really not any low scores out there.

He needs a 66 at worse imho
I just can’t see one of the leaders not shooting at least a 70

Also, these Nike hats with the dots are terrible.

I was thinking the same thing.

If the wind stays at about 18-25 MPH, I can easily see par as a very good score today coming in and the winning score being at -8. (I also could be completely wrong and this will look awful in 4 hours)

Yesterday you'd have a point.

Today?

He can afford some of those.

It was 15 feet, not exactly automatic from that range. And it was a good looking putt

Man so y’all think Xander, Spieth, and kissner will all shoot +2 or so?

That seems extremely unlikely, but would make for a hell of a Sunday

That’s definitely possible. But the course is also significantly more difficult today, and who knows how they’ll be dealing with nerves down the stretch.

More likely than calling Tigers chances done after making a par on 1.

He's not off to a great start. #1 was a golden opportunity to get a birdie and he blew it. How many more chances like that will come around?

They don't have to all drop 2 strokes for that missed putt to not sink Tiger's chances

If tiger needs a 66, that missed putt is gigantic

If he only needs a 69 like y’all think, it isn’t a big deal

He blew a 15 foot putt, when pros only make 30-40% of those?

Unreal takes today.

Dude you are being a little douchey

Some of us think -10 is the winning score

If that hold true, missing a 30-40% birdie putt out here today is huge

We know you play golf bro

40%?!

That was a 15+ foot putt that moved the entire way and mildly snapped at the end.

I’m sorry if it’s coming off that way. Not my intention at all.

I just think y’all are severely overreacting to one missed putt. It would be far more concerning if he didn’t hit a good putt. But he hit a really good one that just didn’t quite have enough speed.

On a putt that broke a foot, I’d take that as more of an encouraging sign than anything else because it wasn’t as easy of a putt as I think y’all are saying it is.
