What would you order at TJ Ribs?

I haven't been in over a decade and have no idea what, if anything, is good there.
Can anyone help shed some light? I've seen some chatter thrown around about their wings on here but am otherwise ignorant.

Their smoked wings get some love here. They were pretty damn good the 1 time I tried them.

I really like the smoked wings. Matter of fact, a lot of time I'll get an order of them with a side of fries. The beef ribs are good too. People on this site like to shite on T.J. Ribs, but it gets the job done. It isn't Franklin Barbecue, but you can get a good meal there.

I haven't been in years, but I had the shrimp and grits there and they were very good. Friend had a steak and it was terrific. Made me wish I'd ordered one. That was when Kevin Kimball was managing the place, though, and I don't know if it's still as good. I haven't been since for no reason. Just haven't gone there.

The baby backs are hard to beat.
But honestly, the last few times I went in there (it's been a while), the whole place has just be really dirty and poorly managed.
I hope it's gotten better because growing up that was one of my favorite places to go.

Evidently others love the place. 2nd location under construction now in Denham Springs. It’s not a BBQ for everyone, more upscale & that’s fine by me.
