Is that because you have ATT cellular and do that bundle they have? Just curious but do you know how much you pay per line with ATT cellular?

Around $70

My wife has the equipment fee for having the new phone. It’s $70 without it. So $140 + $50 for cell, Internet, tv

Welp, two price increases in less than a year. I'm trying out Hulu this week.

I'm paying $179/month for 300mbps and the Cox ultimate package.
How much are your STB rental fees, franchise fees, taxes, and other local fees? You should show those, too.

$179 is everything. That's the ultimate package, DVR service, 2 boxes, all fees and taxes, and 300mbps internet. It's about $31 more dollars than I was paying as a cord cutter last September before Vue went up $20 and now here we are in July and Vue is going up again.

Cancelled Cox and signed up for Hulu recently. $40/month as opposed to $150 or whatever the insane amount cox was charging was a no-brainer. Only thing I'm not crazy about with Hulu is the layout of the app.

That's the price you pay for cheap cable.

-----

I cancelled Vue and am going to go full cord-cutter for a while. I've been doing mostly youtube videos and Netflix recently anyway.

I'll shamelessly use my parents' login info to watch ESPN if necessary. But it's July so ESPN isn't really necessary at all for the next two months.

Yup, I'm fine with using an awkward interface to save $100/month. Netflix and YouTube are what I mainly watch anyway.

I've been using PS Vue for probably close to two years but this is going to force me to look into DirecTV Now, et al. I'm over $100/month for LUS Fiber + Vue with the latest price increase which, like Carson was saying, is so close to what it costs for regular cable that I have to consider tying that cord back together.

I've been with PS Vue for a couple years also. I stomached the first increase even though there were less channels than when I joined. I canceled it this time. The channels they've added for me are worthless. I opted for Hulu TV. I don't love the interface on Roku so far, but it's $43.99 a month (for commercial free), but it includes the pricing for the regular Hulu service. I was already paying $7.99 a month for Hulu. So I'm going to try it for a few months.

Damn that is some BS. I dropped Vue a few months ago. Just went the VPN + Kodi route. No issues yet.

I’ve tried all steaming services and PS Vue is the only one that’s been “worth it” to me. Easy to use cloud dvr and consistent streams.

I’ve tried:
FuboTv
Philo
YouTube tv
Hulu tv
Directnow
SLING
Vue

Vue crushes them

I agree, I just like Vue the most. I also have Dtvnow since I’m on the original $35 go big plan and hope they will get their shite straight, but if Vue had A&E and History I would cancel DTVN. I can do without and watch anything on kodi, but I do like me some Live PD.

Me? Five Streaming Devices, Two Game boxes, plus all the phones, tablets, computers, etc...

Up to five simultaneous streams of PSVue for $50, plus another $60 for 300mb Internet svc.

Enjoy your two set top boxes for an extra $828 a year. I'm sure it's totally worth it, though.

You should surprise your parents and log in and pay their bill on occasion.

I agree,

The thing I don't get is Vue seems to be the preferred service by a slight majority on this board yet they still haven't broken 1 million subscribers. AT&T hit that mark within months of launching.

Vue has been marketed terribly. Naming it Playstation anything was a horrible idea. 90% of the population thinks you need a Playstation to operate it.
