Man with gun killed by Police

In my gun class we were taught to say this only if directly threatened. As a civilian, he was adding to the frenzy by revealing his armed status rather than de-escalating it.

Not sure how you can blame the cops for a shooting involving a guy, with a gun, in a fight. That hardly constitutes them being “trigger happy.”

Why does the fact that he had a gun matter? Guns are legal and he had a permit to carry. Guns are not the problem. If he had a phone in his hand would he still be alive? I can kill you with a phone. It's not the gun.
