Maher is such a prick. He thinks he is so witty with his audience cheering behind him, but he never stated one fact. Not a SINGLE fact. All speculation. Meanwhile Shapiro is ripping off facts left and right.

Bill got owned

Lol they really do think he colluded with Russians. LOL

And in thousands of meetings not one shred of evidence to support that. NADA

I'm not a fan of Shapiro but he made Maher come off as a bumbling idiot. Muh collusion. Muh Russia.

Ben definitely came off as the more reasoned arguement there.

I had no idea these people actually, I mean for real believe the Russian collusion narrative. I thought everyone had kind of dropped that. Amazing

And the people who keep bringing up the 19 indictments. Is there a single one of those indictments related to Russian collusion?

frick Maher

Ben did OK.

Ben didn’t get in a viral kill shot but he left Maher stammering a couple of times.

Maher obviously knew Ben wasn’t a Trump guy and kept
playing that angle.

I wish Ben could have went more broad.

They didnt talk much policy, if any at all. Maher made it about Ben being a Trump lover which he really isnt. And then about Russia. Come on Bill. Atleast he is respectful to whoever he debates with. As is Ben.

Let’s see how long I can last.

4:20

Lost of virtue signaling and playing to the audience as expected.

Do liberals actually believe that Maher agrees with them? He plays a role to make money and does it well.

These people are insane and we are going to have bloodshed in 2018 (probably worse than Steve Scalise) because of it

So I'm confused, why didnt those two Trump haters just sit there and hate on Trump?

It's almost as if Shapiro isn't a Trump hater...

Good to see that Bill is still the "House N***a" that he said he was.

Maher is a bit of a mixed grab bag for me. There are rants of his that I feel are totally off base, and then sometimes he takes Dems to task that I find refreshing.

More often times than not I vehemently disagree with what he's espousing, so I rarely watch him unless he's linked in an article I find interesting.

I like Ben. He has open political/moral views and defends them with evidence. Bill, also has open political/moral views but resorts to emotional hyperbole. But he was correct that in this day your either Democrat or GOP. Ben hasn’t learned that lesson yet.

Ben is complicated on Trump and didn’t vote for him 2016. He thinks Trump is an uncivil moron. He also thought that he was not conservative. Ben was wrong in 2 of 3. Trump is self evidently not a moron, in business a fool and his money are soon parted. Trump has proven to govern conservatively and keep campaign promises. I was also pleasantly surprised by this, since I suspected he was not conservative, and have not seen a GOPe President keep his promises. But, Trump is uncivil. Ben correctly pointed out that the incivility predates Trump. Ben advocates countering incivility with civil factual argument. That is his style. I think that is fantastic for argument, but suicidal for vote getting.

Interestingly, Ben basically said that as of now, he will vote Trump 2020.
