Womp Womp
quote:
President Trump’s ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, has held high-level talks with German car makers BMW and Volkswagen about dropping car tariffs between the US and Germany. The manufacturers said they were open to the idea of dropping tariffs...

Trump retains the “Blue Wall” states and now serves through 2024
Start looking for Trump 2.0 to run in 2024 and let’s continue winning!

You've got to wonder -- at what point does Barry Odumbf*ck become convinced that Trump does, in fact, have a magic wand and rounds up his old FBI loyalists to conduct a raid on the White House to find it?

“Open to the idea” means they’ll probably agree to it but reinstitute them when another pussy like Obama gets to office.
This is a clear win for American manufacturers and a convenient way to give Germany the opportunity to differ from the rest of the EU. They appear to be sacrificing their manufacturing protection to placate the other member nations that didn’t support these EU taxes to begin with.

I bet the dummies screeching about Trump applying tariffs do not even know that most American goods are subjected to significant tariffs by countries all over the world.

Going to be an avalanche of cave ins. The main reason is because Trump is correct and the tariffs are far from equal. These other countries have no way to defend them once the bright light is focused on the inequality.
Libs don't get it.

But I was told by an angry mob of hogtards that POTUS didn't have a clue about negotiating trade deals.

Free traders will hate this free trade.

So the billionaire businessman may have known a thing or two about how to negotiate essentially business deals?! No way!!!!!!

I'm assuming nobody read this article. While I'm all for Trump actually threatening countries who have traditionally been allies with tariffs in order to get them to stop screwing us...this article (or the same article published in the WSJ) has nothing to do with Merkel or the EU removing auto tariffs.
All this article says is that German manufacturers would prefer free trade with the US when it comes to auto imports/exports. Well of course they would. Problem is they have no say, no power, no control over the Tariffs. Ultimately the entire EU has to be on board.
I believe that Trump will win this game of chicken...but the OP's title is about as accurate as your typical CNN hit-piece (basically every story they publish)

Uh......
Maybe the "M" in BMW stands for Merkel? Trying hard to find a way for this article to make some sense.
