Do you breathe in or out when you putt?

Used to be all pull but now thinking starting the downswing with the thought of pushing the right elbow at the ball. Inspired by Monte Scheinblum and to a lesser extent Mike Malaska. It shallows the club, syncs me up and has allowed me to be much more consistent. Handicap has dropped from 7 to 5.2 in about 6 weeks and scoring is so much more consistent, mostly high 70s.

Not enough pull and too much push which is why my miss is fat.

Rotary swing dude on Youtube demonstrates this nicely.

It's a push and that's why everything is OTT

The feel of it for me is a pull by the leading hip and the hands are just the fulcrum of the whip. There's a bit of a push right before impact, but the majority of the swing feels driven by my hips.
