Looking for some recommendations for restaurants in Orange Beach. Something local, not bar food. TIA

Cheese dip at Cosmo’s (their other food is good, too)
Fisherman’s Corner in Perdido
Jesse’s in Magnolia Springs (whiskey ribeye)

I personally don’t care for Cobalt

Go to Blalocks and buy steamed shrimp and crabs to eat in your rental / on the beach.

just got back. We did Fisher's at OB Marina and Louisiana Lagniappe and both were very good. Also did the Gulf one night and Blaylock's market for in room eating/cooking.

Our usual rotation:
Cosmos- whatever savory cheese cake they have that day and firecracker Shrimp for apps. The banana leaf fish is usually great. Good bar area too.

Cobalts- great views in the evening.

Fishers dockside is a nice lunch spot.

King Neptune’s for lunch- fried seafood (although I’ll say it’s not as good as it used to be.

What'd y'all get from Blalyocks? I like the medium shrimp steamed with extra shake on them. Their dips are good too.

Fisher's Upstairs in my favorite. Their Dockside is also good, a little more casual.

Cobalt is hit or miss. I've had really good meals there, and some average ones.

Only had drinks and apps at Cosmos, and the apps were pretty good.

I've heard great things about Salt. I'm heading down there next week and may try to check it out.

I think we should request a summer time sticky for Orange Beach/Gulf Shores/Ft. Morgan restaurants.

Just talked to my friend that lives down there, and she said Salt has not been well received. They have consistency and service issues according to her.

I'd be immediately suspect of any restaurant in Orange Beach that touts itself as being "farm to table."

I get royal reds and jumbo lump and steaks.

I make my own West Indies salad. We munch on it all weekend and then do a surf and turf night.
