There are only a handful of blue bloods in CFB. LSU is not among them.
ETA: That is surprisingly accurate. Miami at 50% is laughable though.
No brainers:

An argument can be made for:

They must have polled a whole lot of old folks on there to have Michigan and Nebraska so high

When was the last time Michigan won a NC?

This was in the article I posted earlier about the Miami - LSU game.
"Beyond featuring two blue blood programs that figure to be competitive in their divisions, the opening Sunday night’s LSU vs. Miami matchup in Arlington holds a lot of intrigue."

These people don't know what blue blood means.

Nebraska was a dynasty not all that long ago... and with Frost in charge, they’re trending upwards.
Michigan is the winningest program of all-time; Nebraska is #5. Hard to argue against those two.

Correct.
That list being as long as it is, ignores the cardinal rule.

Michigan and Nebraska both won one in the mid 90s.
But Michigan hasn't finished Top 5 since 1999 and hasn't won a conference title since 2004.
Nebraska hasn't finished Top 5 since 1999 and hasn't won a conference title since 1999.

a blue blood would've never hired Ed Orgeron.

We're talking 2 decades of near irrelevancy now, that's a pretty long time ago
Some people might have a bad decade, but a bad TWO straight decades?
Nebraska just isnt going to be good anymore, no one wants to go play in the middle of nowhere nebraska anymore and on top of that they were notorious in the 90s for manipulating the rules in terms of roster (non qualifiers galore, which are no longer allowed) and roided up big time.
Frost seems like a great coach but he made a horrible choice to try and revive what's a dead program. He should of known why Nebraska was great back in the 90s and they cant replicate that now. Too much drug testing and they cant stock up on all these non qualifiers.

Hard to argue with that list.

Exactly. The list should be, at absolute max, 8 teams. IMO, it's only 6, but an argument can be made for a handful of teams to be included.

They haven’t won any championships, but they haven’t been BAD for two straight decades. Their win % during that time frame is actually pretty good.

I mean LSU isn't a blue blood. So they are right.
