Four U.S. Senators addressed members of the press at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on Monday morning, hours before the official relocation of the U.S. embassy — and all four were Republicans.
Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Dean Heller (R-NV), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Mike Lee (R-UT) made the trip, along with ten Republican U.S. Representatives — but not one Democrat joined the U.S. delegation for the embassy event.
Two journalists asked the Republican Senators why no Democrats had come.
Sen. Cruz said: “That is a sad, sad manifestation — I wish we had every member of Congress here … every member of Congress had the option before them to come.”

Let the Dems continue to pout over shite like this.
It makes them seem petty, which they are.

Maybe someone smarter than me can explain it, because I just don't get it. But how in the hell is moving the embassy a partisan issue?
Does it pretty much only come down to them not supporting a single thing that the Trump administration does?

Bullets be flying would be my guess.

They’re reflexively anti-Israel to begin with and see moving the embassy to Jerusalem as an impediment to the peace process.
Frankly, given their track record with North Korea and Iran, I wouldn’t trust their judgment.

That and democrats are the party of identity politics - a big one of which is Muslim heritage. Supporting this move isolates many Arabs in the US.

Graham is pretty much a dem, and I’m sure he will try to find a way to screw something up.

Not really - this is just a tool they use accomplish their only real identity goal = socialism and absolute power.
The modern DEM party is amoral and anti-American to the core.

Well the DNC/MSM Political Complex is on Team Muslim.

And all 4 are pandering bitches who should be ridiculed for being there
How many other embassy moves have they bothered to attend?
Even better, why do you celibrate who attended an all expense paid trip on the taxpayers dime?

Identity politics, by definition, is a tool for consolidating power.

My question is, will the next D president have the stones to move the embassy out of Jerusalem?
I can imagine that Ellison would lobby hard for this to happen. Personally, I would love to watch the shite-show if they did it.

Same bunch that sat in their hands for the SOTU.
What else would you expect?

And I don't get it. Every President since the establishment of Israel has made this promise. Only one has kept the promise. Dems would have shown up in force if Obama had done it. But Obama would have never done it because he has been anti-Israel his whole life. But since Trump did it, they would have to give him credit. And the will never him give him credit for anything he does. That's where they are as a party. They are nowhere.
