Col. North was in a terrible car wreck that killed my cousin (once removed). There were 4 in the car all from the Naval Academy. My cousin got killed, Oliver made it but it took some serious rehab.

That didn’t go down well here in Virginia. I went to school with his daughter and I remember the way people avoided him.
Senator Warner, a fellow Republican and Marine Corps veteran, later campaigned against him because of his testimony.
I have the impression that Webb doesn’t like him either. But that probably dates to their time at the Academy.
