Does the left really still think people will ever care about Stormy?

It’s futile at this point. It’s sad that they won’t give it up. It’s like someone who still goes to Creed concerts.
I work in an office in freakin liberal Austin with all sorts: black, white, conservatives, liberals, even a lesboat, and NOBODY cares about the porn star.
The irony is that THEY eroded the country’s morals to the point that nobody cares about this stuff. They’re trying to play the card that was played against them on Bill in the ‘90s, but the country has changed since then.
They’ve convinced themselves that this is the wedge to drive between Trump and his supporters, but they fundamentally don’t understand his support. Trump’s people see him as King David; though deeply personally flawed, he is the LION who will fight for them and their country. They’re ignoring Stormy and rather than losing support, Trump is going UP in the polls.

Any person who voted for Trump, and continues to support him, was/is aware of his moral failings. He was not elected for his character, so those who wish to create division by assaulting his character don't really know the game.

I have been governed by shitty people the entirety of my life. At the very least, there is no pretense involved any longer. It isn't great to know, but at least there isn't any false consciousness involved.

Agreed. I've said it before, I didn't vote for him to be the pope, I voted for him hoping he would execute what he campaigned. So far he has done well.

Its funny how people on the left kept saying Clinton's extramarital affairs did not matter. We the people should keep out of his personal business! Nevermind, he lied under oath about it.
Now they're trying to play the same trick against Trump, except everyone, including Trump himself, pretty much admits to these affairs and quite frankly, it doesn't matter. They're forgetting their own play against the GOP back then. Really not sure who's making all these terrible moves these days for the Democrats.

Most of us don’t want Trump to replace the clergy at our churches; we just want him to go about the country’s business.

Are “the left” not people now? I can think of a bunch of people that care about it. Obviously trumpkins don’t.
Personally I couldn’t care much less who Trump nails on the side. However I do care about campaign finance laws. (that doesn’t mean I wanted Hilary to win; no matter how much y’all might want it to)
I try not to be a hypocrite so I can’t honestly get upset about Democrats breaking the law but not republicans. Obviously some/most of you have no problem being hypocrites

Exactly. If you're looking for a politician to be your moral compass, your priorities are wrong. I choose politicians like I choose a my doctor, accountant, yard guy, etc.: based on his or her ability to do a specific job, not be a moral authority in my life.
